Poetry isn't a test you can fail. Pick four things, and let the words find you.
In the voice of the greats
Shakespeare, Dickinson, Rilke, Baudelaire, Lorca, Dante: forty poets to write in the manner of. Tap any poet or form to learn who they were and what makes their style theirs.
Real forms, properly kept
A haiku lands its 5-7-5. A sonnet turns at the ninth line. Villanelles, ghazals, sestinas, pantoums, odes, ballads and acrostics all follow their rules, so you learn the forms as you play with them.
Anything you can type
The subject dial has forty presets, but it also takes anything you like. Your dog's birthday, a friend's new job, the view from the train this morning: type it and the poem is about exactly that.
