Itch Studio Ltd. (“us”, “we”, or “our”) operates the AuraPool mobile application (the “App”). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of data when you use our App and the choices you have associated with that data.
In short: AuraPool has no account, no login, and no server of its own. Everything you enter stays on your device.
The information you enter into the App, including your pool details, water test readings, treatment logs, chemical inventory and settings, is stored locally on your device (and, if you have enabled iCloud, in your own private iCloud account provided by Apple). We do not have access to this information, and it is never transmitted to us or to any third party.
If you choose to enable weather-based recommendations, the App uses your device's location to retrieve local weather and forecast information through Apple's WeatherKit service. Your approximate location is used only to request the relevant weather data for that purpose. It is not stored on our servers, is not linked to your identity, and is never used for advertising or tracking. Location access is entirely optional: the App works fully without it, and you can grant or revoke this permission at any time in your device settings.
Weather data is provided by Apple Weather. Apple's handling of location for WeatherKit is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
AuraPool offers optional paid subscriptions and a one-time Lifetime purchase (“AuraPool Pro”). All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store using StoreKit. We do not collect or receive your payment card details. Apple's handling of your purchase information is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. We receive only anonymised, aggregated sales information from Apple, which does not identify you personally.
Because your pool and usage data never leaves your device, we do not use it for any purpose. Location data, when enabled, is used solely to provide weather-informed recommendations within the App at the time you use it.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with anyone. The only external service the App communicates with is Apple's WeatherKit (for weather data) and the App Store (for purchases), both operated by Apple Inc.
The security of your data is important to us. Since all of your pool and usage data is stored locally on your device, you retain full control over it. You can remove all of this data at any time by deleting the App.
If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA), you have certain data protection rights under GDPR. Because we do not collect or hold your personal data on our own systems, we do not hold any data about you to access, correct, amend, delete, or restrict. The data you enter is under your direct control on your own device.
The App is rated for general audiences and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the “Last updated” date above.

This Privacy Policy shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this Privacy Policy, including any questions regarding its existence, validity, or termination, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
